Blackhawk Publish/Subscribe Prototype v0.3 for FreeBSD
Get a Flying Start to the Future Internet!
Version 0.3 of the PSIRP & ICT SHOK FI & PURSUIT projects' Blackhawk prototype features:
- blackboard-based publish/subscribe system integrated with the FreeBSD kernel
- the possibility to build small-scale pub/sub networks that utilize forwarding with zFilters
Blackhawk v0.3.0 was released on 2010-06-30.
Virtual Machine Images
FreeBSD 8.0-RELEASE-amd64 + Blackhawk v0.3.0 installed on a virtual
machine image compatible with VMware, VirtualBox, KVM, and other
virtualization software.
In order to start Blackhawk, just run reloadps
or reloadps net
after logging in!
Download VM image:
- VMDK with FreeBSD 8.0 and Blackhawk v0.3.0 for KVM or VMware (256 MB .zip), or
- OVF with FreeBSD 8.0 and Blackhawk v0.3.0 for for VirtualBox or VMware (286 MB .zip)
- OVF with FreeBSD 8.1 and Blackhawk v0.3.1 (307 MB .tgz, added 2010-11-30)
- Note: The source code for v0.3.1 is in the v0.3.0 directory
- If you have problems importing this VM image into VirtualBox, you can try to use this OVF file instead
(requires the virtual disk provided in the tgz-file still)
